Daily Taste and See
Stellenbosch founded in 1679 is the oldest town in South Africa and renowned for its micro climate areas which makes it ideal to produce very fine white and red wine. With its typical Cape Dutch architecture and old oak trees it has a very special atmosphere. It also houses the well-known University of Stellenbosch who train winemakers and viticulturists.

Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope
One of the top, and most scenic drives in South Africa – part of the Big 3 – and definitely not to be missed. The most south westerly tip of the African continent – Francis Drake called it “Fairest of Capes” – but it is also the Cape of Storms. Majestic and breath taking, on any given day.
High Lights:
- From Cape Town scenic drive along coast – stop at Maiden`s Cove overlooking Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles
- Continue via Hout Bay – optional boat trip to Seal Island (own account)
- Picturesque Chapman`s Peak Drive with stunning views from top of Pass – (if open or via beautiful Constantia Valley)
- Enter National Park overlooking the Two Oceans and Cape of Good Hope
- Go on foot/ use funicular (own account) to top lighthouse overlooking area from 250m
- Enjoy lunch like a king or queen at one of most scenic places in South Africa
- Visit Boulders – land based African Penguin colony – and be surprised by these awkward walking (deacon like dressed) creatures on land, but fast and agile in the water. You can look them in the eye and nearly even shake hands!

- Visit the Cape Castle, oldest building in South Africa with some very nice exhibitions, the Parade and Town Hall where Mr Mandela delivered his freedom speech on 11 February 1990
- Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens with its steel snake-walkway. Regarded as a top garden in the world
- Discover and enjoy the V and A Waterfront with its many shops and markets (9-21h) and a great variety of restaurants as well as outdoor activities like helicopter and different boat trips – as well as the stunning Two Oceans Aquarium (extras own account)
